Ginger Berry Protein Shake

Shakes are a great way to get fab nutrients in without a lot of work. They also can really curb sweet cravings.
This one is one of my faves. The added chew from the nuts really lends to a ‘meal’ feeling and the healthy fats keep you full longer.


Chunk of fresh ginger (I usually use about 1 tsp worth)
1-2 scoops of vanilla whey protein like Genuine Health Proteins+
1 scoop of Acai Mango or plain Greens+
1/2 cup of frozen organic mixed berries
10 almonds
1/2 tsp ground flax
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup filtered water

Add everything to the blender and voila!
